Philosophy & Goals
Educating is less about imparting knowledge concerning a subject matter and more about igniting intelligent and creative thought. The processing of information leads to not only mastery of content, but also to mastery of skills that can be gleaned from in future.
As a vessel of empowerment, my desire is to equip those I serve through learning and intelligent discussion coupled with collaborative planning and execution. Technology plays a key role in equipping and supporting students for an ever-changing and expanding world. I enjoy constructively incorporating technology to foster interactive engagement in the learning process, as connected to the National Educational Technology Plan. In whatever capacity I serve, I will educate, enlighten, and empower, as inspired by Dr. Gloria Wade Gayles. |
